Land Debt Improving
March 26, 2008In December of 2006, FBC became the owners of the 21 acres that surround the original five acres this ministry was started on in January of 1984. It was truly an answer to prayer. The price tag of $500,000 made my mouth dry every time I thought of going back into debt. It took us almost ten years to pay off the new sanctuary addition we moved into in 1996 ($500,000).
You may recall to make the land purchase we borrowed $400,000 from the bank and $100,000 from our building fund. Today, when I received February’s financial report I couldn’t help but notice the mortgage on the land had dropped to $17,161.10.
