Our church would like to welcome the newest member of the Family Bible Church staff, Corey Grazul. Corey will be starting as the student ministries pastor overseeing the junior and senior high students on Sunday June 1st. In December of 2007 we began a search for a new youth pastor. After five months of searching we are near the end of the search. We are hoping to make an announcement in the next week or two to the congregation.
Since December many people have stepped up and lead the students of this ministry through this time of upheaval and change and my prayer is that they were blessed as they serve the Lord. Read the rest of this entry ?
The end is in sight! After…
…we have narrowed our search down to two possible candidates.
It has been a challenging process but it has been exciting connecting with so many people who love God and love students.
The search committee has been great throughout this process and still yet has some important work left to accomplish. As the candidates wrap up their interviews with the staffing committee, our plan is to in the coming weeks beginning on March 26th to have the candidates plan, organize, and run a Wednesday night youth meeting and be able to interact with the students. Both the junior high and senior high students will therefore be able to share their thoughts and comments with the committee.
Please continue to pray for this search process as we begin to near the end.
