September 21, 2009

indexmain

We will be wrapping up “Origins” next week.  The series following is titled, “Hurt, Hard Times, and HOPE”.  This eight week series will focus in on the hurts, habits, hang-ups, and hard times we face in life and ultimately the HOPE we have in and through Jesus Christ.

There are many choices we make each day.  When it comes to hurt, hard times, and hope we pray that during this two month period many new and Christ honoring choices will be made.

Sunday the 4th

December 29, 2008

web1

Sunday January 4th we will be celebrating the Epiphany, the coming of the Magi.  Like the Magi, we will bring our gifts before Jesus.  This Sunday will be a celebration of how we as a church said “yes” to Jesus this Christmas by spending less to give more and also by giving relational gifts.

Bring with you the money you are giving because you chose to spend less and also bring with you thoughts about what you did relationally this Christmas to share with the congregation.

We hope you will join us in this celebration.

See you Sunday.

God’s Vintage Children will be attending a play and having a potluck before. Contact Shirley Works for more info.
